Designer who brings light to art
Jakub Burian is a talented designer who has had many successful projects in his career. His creative scope ranges from design to electronics, which he has mastered. With his skills and unique perspective on the fusion of art and technology, he helps other artists to focus fully on their work without having to worry about the technical side, such as the electronics of lights.
His work results in fascinating light installations that bring spaces to life and provide experiences full of creativity, aesthetics and precision. Jakub Burian thus combines technical know-how with artistic vision and opens up new possibilities in the field of modern design and lighting technology.
Michael Bartizal
A Prague artist who integrates traditional craftsmanship with modern technology to craft stunning light installations, puppets, and theater performances. He is currently developing the light installation Flower's Gaze, consisting of clear plexiglass objects shaped like flowers, complete with optical fibers that communicate with their surroundings through a play of colored lights. Introducing our exceptional CEO, Julie Snow. Julie brings to our company not only invaluable business experience, but also a passion for design, which has been a longtime hobby of hers.
Julie studied design and has achieved significant success during her career, winning a national design competition. Her professional steps led her to the prestigious environment of Amsterdam, the Netherlands, where she successfully completed her MBA and then to Denmark. It was there that she began to fully develop her entrepreneurial career.
After a year in Dubai, Julie decided to bring her experience and energy back to Europe, specifically to the Czech Republic, where she now manages and develops our company. As well as heading up our team, she continues to pursue her passion - design - and occasionally designs unique lighting fixtures that reflect her creativity and attention to detail
.APLIKACE SPECTODA
Our lights are designed to be as user-friendly as possible. You can conveniently control it via the Spectoda Connect mobile app or a button. The button makes it easy to turn the lamp on or off. When switched back on, the lamp remembers its last set state, which includes both chromaticity temperature and brightness.
To take advantage of all the lights features make sure your smartphone or computer has:
- Internet access.
- Bluetooth enabled.
- Location services enabled (important for Bluetooth)
Android and iOS: use the 'Spectoda Connect' app for control. Simply search for it in the app store and install it on your device.
To control the lamp from your computer, visit control.spectoda.com in your browser. For optimal performance, we recommend using Google Chrome.
Control using the app
Once you log into the app, a button named after your lamp will appear. Here you can easily turn the lamp on or off and adjust its brightness by sliding it to the right or left.
When you click the button, a detailed menu with additional control options opens. Here you can also adjust the chromaticity temperature in addition to the brightness. There are also preset lighting scenes such as day, evening and night.
In the evening, we recommend using the night mode with the lowest possible chromaticity temperature.
What to do if the light isn't functioning
When using lighting, situations may arise where something does not go as planned. But most problems can be solved quickly and easily. Below you will find guides to solving common problems:
Lamp does not light or cannot be operated:
Check that it is properly connected to the power supply. Check the cord and adapter.
Make sure Bluetooth is turned on on your smart device.
Try restarting the app from which you control the lamp.
In the "Troubleshooting tools" section of the app, select "Reboot all devices" to reset the lamp.
If none of the above steps helped, try resetting the entire app. You will find a "Reset App" button in the settings on the home page. After resetting the app, it will delete all data and you will have to log in again.
